So, what about the dreams we’ve been dreaming?

How many times did we wake up screaming?


Demons, zombies, deformed rats,

giant onions and purple cats

Running away from certain death

to then die for lack of breath

Aliens and overlapping dimensions ...

So much action in our detentions!

But there’s also some joy (at last ... )

Visits of relatives that passed

Dancing to music that doesn’t exist 

and laughing with the friends we missed

Stroking the streets of the city 

because suddenly they turned so pretty

Swimming naked in lakes and fountains 

and rolling down the highest mountains

Lockdown’s got nothing on me

for every single night I break free
